📄 What is a pink slip?

A pink slip (now officially called an eSafety Check) is a safety inspection report required for vehicles over five years old when renewing NSW registration. It confirms your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to drive.

We are a licensed inspection station and can complete your pink slip while you wait – usually in under 30 minutes.

🚗 How long does a pink slip last?

A pink slip is valid for up to 6 months from the date of issue. This means you have that long to complete your rego renewal. If it expires, you’ll need a new inspection.

🔧 What happens if my car fails the pink slip inspection?

If your car doesn’t pass, don’t stress – we’ll explain exactly what needs fixing. You have 14 days to get the repairs done and return for a free re-inspection. If it takes longer than 14 days, a new inspection will be required.

🧾 Can you submit the pink slip electronically?

Yes – once your vehicle passes the inspection, we submit the pink slip electronically to Service NSW immediately, so you can renew your rego online right away.

🛋️ Can I wait while my pink slip is completed?

Yes, you’re welcome to wait in our comfortable waiting room while our mechanics complete your rego check. We provide free Wi-Fi, refreshments, and a relaxed space so you can unwind during your visit. There are also bakeries, breweries and stores in our local area to visit.
